About Eye See You Optometry
Eye See You Optometry is a fully-mobile optometry practice serving aged care facilities, in-home patients, post-operative recovery and workplaces across Queensland and New South Wales. Every clinician on our team is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), holds current professional indemnity insurance and a current National Police Check.
Our mission
More than half of all Australians aged 75 and over live with at least one form of correctable or treatable vision impairment, but the residents most likely to need care are the residents least likely to attend a clinic. Eye See You Optometry exists to close that access gap — to bring the same standard of comprehensive, clinic-grade eye care to the bedside of an older Australian that a younger, mobile patient takes for granted.
Our clinical team
Every examination is performed by an AHPRA-registered optometrist. Our principal clinician and clinical director sets the examination protocols every team member uses, supervises new clinicians on their first facility visits, and is the named reviewer for the patient-facing health content we publish.
Compliance & credentials
Documentation for every credential below is supplied to facilities on request before the first visit. We renew checks on the schedule mandated by each issuer.
AHPRA optometrist registration
Every clinician holds current optometry registration with the Optometry Board of Australia. Registration numbers are listed on each individual clinician profile and can be independently verified on the public AHPRA register.
National Police Check
Every clinician holds a current National Police Check, renewed annually as a condition of attending residential aged care facilities under the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Working With Vulnerable People
Where required by the state in which the visit occurs (NSW WWCC, QLD Blue Card analogues for adult populations as relevant), each clinician holds the appropriate check before attending.
Professional Indemnity Insurance
Each practising optometrist holds current professional indemnity insurance meeting Optometry Board of Australia mandatory minimum standards.
Infection-control protocols
Every visit follows our documented infection-control standard, aligned to the National Health and Medical Research Council Australian Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Infection in Healthcare. Equipment is sanitised between every patient.
